 Mission

It is the mission of the Gaston County Schools Testing & Accountability Department to implement the North Carolina Testing Program by providing North Carolina Department of Public Instruction policies, guidelines and procedures for ethical testing practices that meet federal, state and local requirements related to the area of securing tests, administering and scoring tests, reporting scores, and providing information to facilitate the interpretation of test results at the district and school level.
