 Attendance Appeals

According to the GCS Attendance Policy, on the 11th absence per semester per class, students who are PASSING a course must file an appeal to be eligible to earn credit for the class. In the event a student appeal is granted, the student will receive the final grade earned. Should the appeal be rejected, the student will receive a FF and no credit for the course. Appeal forms may be picked up now from the student's counselor, Mrs. Neeley in the main office, or Mrs. Teague in room 209. Forms are due to Mrs. Neely on Tuesday, May 21st (in the main office). No late forms will be accepted. Appeals will be indicated on the student's final report card for second semester that will be distributed on Thursday, June 13.

With the warm weather, students are reminded to review the East Gaston Dress Code Policy to avoid disruptions to the learning environment. Click here to review. Disciplinary action may be given for students that violate this policy.
