According to the GCS Attendance Policy, students who are passing a course, but have more than 10 absences in the course, must file an appeal to determine if credit is granted. Detailed instructions and the appeal form can be accessed here. Appeal forms are due no later than Tuesday, May 22 by 4 p.m. to Mrs. Teague. |

The Senior Warrior Excellence Awards Ceremony is Thursday, May 17 at 6:30 p.m. Underclassman Warrior Excellence Awards will be Friday, May 18 at 1:30 p.m. Parking is limited, and students won't be dismissed early, that Friday. Parents should expect an invitation letter if your child is recieving an award for either event, and dress for both events is smart casual. We look forward to celebrating your child's accomplishments together! |

Congratulations to Mrs. Diane Reeves, who's been voted Gaston County Media Specialist of the Year! This honor comes as no surprise to the EG community, as we all know what an incredible asset Mrs. Reeves is to our school. After school tutoring will begin on Tuesday, February 21 and run until Thursday, May 31. Tutoring will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m with limited sessions also held on Wednesdays. Tutoring is offered to all students in a variety of subjects and bus transportation will be available. In addition, the media center is open to students to conduct research after school on Mondays - Thursday from 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. A schedule with tutor and location can be found here. |

A total of 6,606 food items were recently donated to our local food pantries in Mt. Holly & Stanley. Simply amazing! Thanks for a successful canned food drive (sponsored by EG Student Council). Way to go Warrior community. |

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 6, all vehicles on campus must display a permit or parking violations will be enforced. Students may purchase a permit throughout the school year in the front office with Mrs. Costner, once he or she obtains a driver's license/vehicle. Forms may also be downloaded here. |
