Meet Mrs. Brown

I am a Gastonia Native, even though now I call Clover, SC home. I am a proud graduate of Ashbrook High School. I went to Belmont Abby College where I received my Elementary Education degree. I began working at Belmont Central in 2003 and have taught kindergarten, first, second, third grade, and now fifth grade. This is my tenth year of teaching! I graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a Master's degree in School Administration. I recieved my National Board Certification in 2010. I was also Belmont Central's Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012.  I am married to Josh and last February we had our first beautiful baby, a son named Corbin! We love watching Corbin grow and learn something new every day! He is the joy of our lives! We also have two dogs, Lucy and Suzie, and two horses, Pride and Cojak!
