I am originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and I love the Volunteers! I also graduated from UNCC-so go 49ers!

 I moved to Gaston County, NC after I married. My husband is from Gastonia. I have two daughters who attend Belmont Middle and South Point High School.

I began my career in 7th grade at Stanley Junior High in 1992. In 1993, I moved to Belmont Junior High. I am now in my 21st year of teaching middle school.
