We have two Lang. Arts and Soc. St. classes on our Lion team. Both Lang. Arts classes will be required "At Home Reading" and a reading log sheet every week. As stated in our team letter, each student is required to read at least 20 minutes daily at home Mon. - Thur.  Every Mon. students will be given a reading log sheet where they will respond in writing to what they read each night. These log sheets will be turned in to me every Fri. or the last day of the week. Parents, please sign the log sheet each Thur. night before your child brings it to school on Fri. This counts as a grade every week in Reading.

Students are encouraged to read AR books and take tests on those books. If a student does not meet his/her AR goal by the end of each 9 weeks, that student will be required to do a book project.
