Easy Fundraising Opportunities
We have these easy ways for us to raise money for John Chavis Middle School!!!
1. It's that time of year to RE-LINK your Harris Teeter VIC Card to John Chavis Middle School (Account Code 1301) at www.harristeeter.com, the check-out register, or customer service desk. Once your card is linked, John Chavis Middle School will receive a percentage of your Harris Teeter brand purchases credited back to our account. This program does not interfere with your VIC savings or cost you any money! Don't forget to link your VIC card to our account code (1301) next time you are shopping at Harris Teeter.
2. Food Lion MVP cards are also eligible to give back money to Chavis: Go to www.foodlion.com. Click on "MVP Rewards." Then click on "MVP Card Registration." Follow the instructions from there! Our School Code is 213443.
3. Box Tops 4 Education: Simply collect Box Top labels from food labels and send them to school. For more information go to www.boxtops4education.com!!
4. Campbell's Labels for Education: Collect Campbell's Soup and other Campbell's product labels and send them to school. We have a big collection can in the front office. For more information, go to www.labelsforeducation.com.
5. Recycle your ink cartridges for education!! - Turn your empty ink and toner cartridges into cash for our school. Staples will pay our school $3 for each eligible cartridge. Just send your empty inkjet or toner cartridges to school with your child. Please send laser cartridges in a box - just use the one from your new cartridge! It's that easy!
6. Target Community: Take Charge of Education! Target Card holders now have an opportunity to raise money for John Chavis Middle School. With the Holiday Shopping Season in full bloom, now is the time to register your Target Cards!!! With any Target purchase, Chavis will get 1% of your purchases. If you use your Target Visa anywhere else, Chavis will get 0.5% of your purchases.
Go to www.target.com/tcoe. Under "Enroll Now," choose "Find a School." Follow the directions from there. You can also call 1-800-316-6142. Once you are enrolled, Chavis can begin getting money every time you use your Target Card!!! Our school code is 111970.
7. Bi-Lo Bonus Card: Next time you are at school, pick up an enrollment form to be scanned at Bi-Lo. As you go through the check-out line, present the enrollment card to the cashier along with your Bi-Lo Bonus Card to be scanned within your grocery order. This one-time scan will enroll you for JCMS until May 31 and we will receive one percent of your purchases. Give the extra enrollment cards to family and friends so they can help us raise money as well.
8. Ingles Advantage Card: Tools for Schools! Link your Ingles Advantage Card online at www.ingles-markets.com and remember to re-link each year. Our school code is 30493. Use your Ingles Advantage Card each time you shop at Ingles and we will get credit to purchase tools for our school. Call 1-800-8TOOLS4 for more details or information.
