Hello!  My name is Cheryl Conner and I have the privilege of co-teaching 7th grade LA and Math with both the Tarantulas and Lions Teams and I provide Academic Support to students in the 8th grade every day.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Appalachian State University in 1983 and my MA in Special Education from Belmont Abbey in 1999. I have just begun my 28th year of teaching in Gaston County Schools.  I consider it a privilege to be employed at Cramerton Middle School, and this begins my 12th year here.  I feel blessed to be part of such a dynamic group of educators and feel honored to have the opportunity to work with such a fabulous group of students.

In addition to my very busy schedule, I also can be seen as the Secretary of our School Improvement Team, a position I've held since 2002, and you may recognize me from my car duty afterschool in the back of CMS.

I truly enjoy working with Middle School students, and with the exception of 2 years at Carr Elementary, have worked with secondary level students for the great majority of my career.  I am accessible during my planning period and before and after school by either school email or voice mail (#318) when using the school's phone number.  I regularly check both those sources, so feel free to contact me and know I will respond as soon as possible.

Thanks for the opportunity to work with your child and I look forward to the progress that we will see in all areas of student achievement!!!  Here's to a positive, productive year!!!
