Important information about the upcoming PLAN and ACT tests
As part of a statewide initiative, Gaston County Schools will be administering the ACT test during the 2011-2012 school year.
- The ACT will be given on March 6, 2012 to all 11th grade students. The ACT is a national college admissions examination that consists of subject area tests in English, Math, Reading, and Science. ACT results are accepted by all 4-year colleges and universities in the U.S, and students will have the opportunity to choose which schools they would like to send their scores upon taking this test in March. For general information about the ACT, please visit http://actstudent.org/.

What is it?
