WELCOME MS. WASHINGTON!
We are always happy to meet with parents, students and teachers. In order to best meet your child's needs, we have divided the counseling assignments as follows:
Mrs. Warren - works with the entire 8th grade and the Navigator (Poole, Couture, and Williams) and Lancer (Langshcwager and Rowe) Teams in 7th Grade.
Ms. Washington -works with the entire 6th grade and the Crusader (Allen, Hinton, and Brown) Team in the 7th Grade.

Current 8th Grade Students and Parents, please check this website regularly for important High School Registration information.
Ashbrook High School- Counselors from Ashbrook will be on Monday March 26 at 8:30 am to speak with Rising 9th Graders in the Auditorium. Counselors will return to register students on Tuesday March 27 and Wednesday March 28. Any student who was absent for Ashbrook's registration will be regsitered on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 8:30.
Forestview High School- A counselor from Forestview will be here on Tuesday, April 17 to register those students in the Forestview feeder area. Mrs. Warren will send information to parents on Monday, April 16 for them to review and return to the school.
Hunter Huss High School- A counselor from Hunter Huss will be at Grier on Tuesday April 3 to register those students in the Huss feeder area.
Bessemer City High School- Mrs. Warren will register all students in the Bessemer City feeder area after we return from Spring Break.
North Gaston High School- Mrs. Warren will register all students in the North Gaston feeder area.
Highland School of Technology- Congratulations to all of Grier's initially accepted students. These students will be registered at their feeder High Schools until final acceptance this summer.
Parents that have questions about their child's registration for their respective high schools should contact either Mrs. Warren or the 9th grade counselor at the feeder High School.
Gaston Early College High School - Applications must be turned in to Mrs. Warren at Grier by Friday March 9. There is a Parent Information Session scheduled for Monday March 5 at 6:00 pm in the Myers Center at Gaston College in Dallas, NC.
