BOOK DRIVE

PTO is sponsoring a book drive to help build our classroom libraries.  Our goal is to have 1,000 books in each classroom! Here is how you can help us reach our goal:

  • Donate new or gently used books.
  • Purchase books from the Scholastic Book Club throughout the year and our school will receive a portion of the profits to purchase books for the classrooms.
  • Purchase books from the Scholastic Book Fair coming October 19th - October 26th.

 

 

 Math Investigations

 

Math Investigations is our new math program adopted by Gaston County Schools.  Math Investigations is an investigative method to learning, understanding, and applying math concepts. Sometimes the right book is all it takes to nurture a child's love of reading. That's why we are pleased that our classes will be participating in Scholastic Book Clubs this school year. The Book Club flyers we’ll be sending home each month are full of just-right, affordable books and Storia™ eBooks for every age and reading level. Coke Rewards: Bring in coke bottle caps with codes inside and we earn points toward school supplies.

 

Tyson Project A+ lables are each worth 24 cents for our schools.
