Mrs. Reed is a graduate of Crescent High School in Iva, South Carolina. She received a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University in 1984. During her tenure at Holbrook Middle School, her administrator encouraged her to add to her degree to teach math in grades 6-9. May, 2005, she received her administrative degree from Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. In January, 2002 she married Timothy B. Reed, her childhood sweetheart. Her theme is “It’s All About the H.Y.P.E. (Helping Young People Excel). It is important as educators that we adopt strategies that serve to motivate and educate the young people of today.
