Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am excited to have your children in my class this year. We are looking forward to a wonderful year. Below is some important information you and your child need to know throughout the year. Please feel free to call me at school or email me if you have any questions or concerns.

BEAR Books
Each day, your child will be bringing home their BEAR book. Inside, you will find their reading log, a folder for homework, an Important pocket, and a pocket for our class calendar. Please check their BEAR book each night. Place any notes to me in the Important pocket, as I will check this each morning.
Behavior
Your child's behavior will be marked each day on their class calendar. They will receive either a green, yellow, and red. If he/she does not have green for the day, the rule that was broken will be indicated in that day's box. Please initial the behavior each day.
Monday Folder
Each Monday, your child will bring home a folder with their classwork inside. Please look over the work, sign the folder, and send it back with your child by Friday.
Snack
We will have snack each morning during centers. Please send a healthy snack with your child.
