Dear Families,
Our class raised $80 for the American Red Cross. Your children wrote letters to the children of Haiti. They have inspired the whole school to raise money for the American Red Cross. Thank you for your support.
The phone book donation was a success. Our school brought in the most phone books. Anna King brought in over 3,000. Way to go Anna! We will be having a pizza party later on to celebrate!

Shapes! Shapes! Shapes!
February 10th- We have been learning about solid figures (cube, cone, rectangular prism, sphere, pyramid, and cylinder). Please, have your child go on a shape hunt. On February 10th, bring in a solid figure for snack. Some examples are orange, cereal, grape-sphere, Crackers w/cheese, juice box-rectangular prism, bugles-cone, cheese-cube, and there are many more waiting to be discovered.
