My name is Kierstin Jenkins.  This is my 11th year in teaching.  I am originally from Pennsylvania. My parents still live in "Amish Country" and I enjoy visiting them and my sister, on most school breaks! I graduated from Lebanon Valley College (right outside of Hershey, PA!) with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  I moved to North Carolina to work in the Gaston County School System.  I met and married my husband, Bryan, nine years ago.  We have one daughter, Zoe, who is in 2nd grade at Springfield. We are very active at Venture Church.  

    I love to crochet, read, play with Zoe, go boating, go to the beach, and exercise in my spare time! I love to teach and try new ideas in the classroom.  I hope that this is a great year!
