Purpose:

The mission of Woodhill Elementary School is to provide all students with a nurturing and safe learning environment that fosters high academic achievement, self worth, and civic responsibility.

 

Direction:

Woodhill Elementary School is committed to providing a learning environment where all staff, students, families, and community members collaborate to ensure the development of globally competitive 21st century citizens.

 

Beliefs: 

 All students can learn through appropriate instruction

 We strive to push students to reach their own potential       

 We believe quality education is a collaborative effort      

 We believe a positive environment dictates success

 Diversity is a driving force

 Teachers and staff provide a safe learning environment    

 Each individual child is valued

 All students can and will learn

 Junior League of Gaston County

  The President of the Junior League of Gaston County, Angie Bloomfield, dropped of a generous donation of $500 on 1/24/13! Woodhill will utilize the funds from the Junior League’s 2012-2013 Community Grant to sponsor Kindergarten students on an upcoming field trip. Thank-You Junior League of Gaston County!!!

 Woodhill Elementary Recognition

Woodhill Elementary was recently recognized by the State Board of Education, at their September 2012 monthly meeting, for a significant increase in academic achievement.
