Aaron Froehlich has a passion for science, which is evident in his studies at Ashbrook High School.
Winning third place in the Student Academy of Sciences regional competition, he went on to compete in the N.C. Science and Engineering Fair. Additionally, he was recognized as a finalist for the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Award given by WTVI - PBS Charlotte.
In addition to being named Ashbrook’s ‘Best and Brightest’ for The Gaston Gazette’s senior recognition program, Aaron served on the advisory board for Teens Changing Gaston County and participated in cross country for four years. He even found time to participate in the Junior Checkers travel ice hockey team and work part-time as a barista at Floyd & Blackie’s.
It’s obvious that Aaron likes to stay busy, and he handles a full schedule quite well. He will have plenty to do and learn this fall when he attends Wake Forest University to study biology.
