    Aneshia Gano, Bessemer City High School Our Outstanding Senior from Bessemer City High School is Aneshia Gano. 

    Aneshia Gano just might be the person who develops the next most popular video game. The Bessemer City High School senior will attend Gardner-Webb University where she plans to study computer science and pursue a career in video game development. If her focus on success while in high school is any indication, there is no doubt that Aneshia will accomplish all that she sets out to do. In addition to excelling in her studies, Aneshia has worked a part-time job and helped her mother take care of her siblings. She has been involved in various school clubs and earned several Microsoft certifications. While she has experienced challenges, Aneshia kept the drive and determination needed to rank academically among the top graduates in her class.
