Breona Tuft knows the importance of making every school day count. When she completes her last day at Cherryville High School, Breona will have had perfect attendance for 13 years.

In addition to her stellar attendance, Breona has been active in the school’s marching, concert, and jazz bands. As a member of the band’s color guard, she put forth excellent leadership as the captain during her junior and senior years. Additionally, she was a leader for the basketball and softball teams.

Breona is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society and received the Las Amigas Scholarship.

Headed to Western Carolina University, Breona plans to study secondary education and go on to obtain a master’s degree. She is accustomed to giving 100 percent in school (her perfect attendance record proves that). Now, she is ready to give it her all in college.
