    Hannah Murrow, East Gaston High School Our Outstanding Senior from East Gaston High School is Hannah Murrow.

    It is safe to say that East Gaston High School senior Hannah Murrow has a song in her heart. A three-year member of the N.C. High School Honors Chorus (the first East Gaston student to earn such an honor), Hannah was among only 160 students from across the southern United States to be selected by audition to perform at the American Choral Directors Association convention in Mobile, Alabama. In addition to being musically inclined, Hannah has been a member of the varsity swimming and tennis teams, served as the swim team captain, attended Commissioners’ School and Governor’s School, and won top honors in the Gaston Regional Science Fair. She plans to attend Wake Forest University to study music and psychology.
