  • OUTSTANDING SENIOR:  Marques Lovett
     
    Marques Lovett - Webb Street School If you are looking for a student with a great attitude who is always willing to lend a helping hand then look no further than Marques Lovett. “He is Mr. Personality and always has a smile,” said his principal Kelli Howe of Webb Street School.

    At Webb Street, Marques was named the ‘Green Student of the Year’ for his work with the school’s recycling, aquaponics, and greenhouse programs. A highlight for Marques has been aquaponics, a system that uses fish and fresh water to grow vegetables.

    Despite some health concerns, Marques is ready for what’s ahead after graduation. He is currently working with vocational rehabilitation to find employment and will be successful in whatever job he chooses.
