Open House

Aloha, Wildcats! Join us for a tropical evening of fun and information as we kick off the new school year in true NOGA style! 

Monday August 11, 2025

5:00-7:00 pm

Throw on your best Hawaiian shirt, pick up a lei at the door, and get ready to meet your teachers, walk your schedule, explore clubs and activities, tour the building, and take photos at our tropical photo booth!

Freshman Prowl & Picnic!

📍 Where: North Gaston High School

This event is just for freshmen – your chance to:
Prowl the Building – Find your classrooms before the first day!
🌸 Meet Teachers & Staff – Get to know your Wildcat ‘ohana!
🍍 Enjoy a Picnic – Chill with your classmates and start the year with good vibes!

Dress in your favorite Hawaiian shirt or lei and join us for a tropical welcome to high school!

Bus routes will be finalized and posted at Open House.

School Supplies

To help keep our campus safe, all students must use a clear backpack this school year. Students will carry these throughout the day, and all bags are subject to search.

Athletic Bags:
Students bringing athletic bags should drop them off at morning security and pick them up at the end of the day.

We’ve got you covered! Clear backpacks will be available for $10 in the Main Office and at Open House.

Drop off & Pick up

Student Parking & Drop-Off Procedures

Student Drivers:

• During the regular school year, student drivers will park in the student parking lot.

• Parking Fee: $25.00

Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up:

• Location: Rear entrance near the baseball parking lot

• Enter from Philadelphia Church Road or Ratchford Road

• After drop-off, circle through and exit the lot

• The front entrance is reserved for:
   Buses
   Visitors
   Handicapped drop-off

• Car riders cannot use the front entrance.

Afternoon Pick-Up:

• Follows the same rear entrance process

• Important: Please do not pick up on Ratchford Road — this is unsafe and may result in a ticket from the highway patrol.

Transfer Students/New Enrollments

📢 Attention New and Transfer Students

All new and transfer students must complete the Scribbles enrollment application for the new school year.

 Once the application is approved and received by our Data Manager, you will be contacted to create your class schedule.

📅 During the school year:
New enrollments will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
