Mr. Isaiah Cornelius

Choral Director (Vocal Arts/Chorus)

Mr. Cornelius comes to us from Salisbury, NC. In middle and high school, he participated the North Carolina Honors Chorus at the annual NC Music Educators Association Conference in Winston-Salem, Nc. Upon graduating from high school, he attended Wingate University in Wingate, NC, where he received his Bachelors of Music Education degree in May of 2017. He sang with the Wingate University Singers, Chamber Choir, and Men's Ensemble. Mr. Cornelius hopes to pursue his Master's Degree in Choral Conducting in the near future. This is Mr. Cornelius' third full year as a teacher at W.C. Friday. He completed student teaching at Cramerton Middle School with Mrs. Patty Fayssoux and South Point High School with Mrs. Melissa Glover. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, light hiking, and spending time with his cat, Levi. This year, Mr. Cornelius welcomes a foreign exchange student from Spain into his home, named Guillem.
