World Milk Day
-
The Southeast Dairy Association selected Sadler Elementary to participate in World School Milk Day on Wednesday, September 27.
Teachers incorporated a variety of different activities and fun lessons into the classroom on how milk is produced and why it’s beneficial.
During a presentation from the Southeast Dairy Association children had the opportunity to ask questions to a dairy farmer and see a calf.
This year marks World School Milk Day’s 18th anniversary and celebrates the importance of school milk in children’s diets and increases awareness of dairy foods.
