    Ray Rose, South Point High School Our Outstanding Senior from South Point High School is Ray Rose.

    You gain an amazing sense of accomplishment when you are able to overcome tremendous odds. That is what happened to South Point High School senior Ray Rose. Growing up, Ray had his share of challenges, but his family and friends offered support, provided encouragement, and instilled a vision for greatness. He discovered his stride after getting involved in athletics, and with the help of his coaches, teachers, and others, he became a gridiron standout and landed a full athletic scholarship to play football at UNC-Chapel Hill. He’s grateful for everyone who has supported him along the way, and now, he looks to a future that holds promise to become the next football star from South Point High School.
