Samantha Perez knows that a well-rounded student doesn’t just do well in school, but is also involved in clubs and community service activities. During her time at Hunter Huss High School, Samantha has served as the president of the Green Team environmental club and been active in the Beta Club and National Technical Honor Society.
Her involvement in the community and putting others above herself makes Samantha stand out from the crowd, a trait that will carry her far in life and in her future career as a nurse.
She has studied the Health Science pathway while in high school and was awarded an ACCESS Scholarship from Appalachian State University. The best part is that the scholarship will allow her to attend college tuition-free.
