Our Outstanding Senior from Gaston County Virtual Academy is Autumn Gardner. 

Autumn Gardner has thrived in the Gaston County Virtual Academy this year, finding ways to stay involved in the community even during the challenges of finishing her high school career during a worldwide pandemic. As a member of the first graduating class for the Gaston County Virtual Academy, Autumn is outgoing and cheerful, and she is always looking to move forward both personally and academically. One accolade that makes her proud is being named a Deputy Governor for the Junior Civitan West District. Autumn plans to attend Western Carolina University to major in political science/pre-law with a minor in English. She hopes to become an advocate for reform within the foster care system so that she can help serve as a beacon of light during a child’s darkest time.
