Janeva Wilson knows that a well-rounded student doesn’t just excel in school, but the well-rounded student is also involved in clubs and community service.  While at Bessemer City High School, Janeva has balanced being a motivated student with being active in numerous extracurricular activities.

Her involvement in band during all four years of high school proves that Janeva is a dedicated student and learner who works hard to achieve her goals.  This is a trait that will carry her far in life as she continues her journey to college.

Janeva was awarded the full-ride Chancellor’s Academic Scholarship to attend Winston-Salem State University where she plans to get involved with student government and other organizations.  Her career goal is to become a counseling therapist.
