Mrs. Kristin Haskett
Mrs. Kristin Haskett was born and raised in central Florida. She moved to North Carolina in 1998 to attend Gardner-Webb University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master of Arts in School Leadership, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership all from Gardner-Webb University.
She completed 13 years in the classroom as an elementary and middle school teacher before becoming a school administrator in 2014. She previously served as an assistant principal at South Point High, North Gaston High, Pinewood Elementary, Gaston Virtual Academy, and now with Warlick Academy. As a teacher, she was a mentor to new teachers, a Pinnacle Leader for the district, and served on many school and district committees. She has also taught several professional development workshops about integrating technology, student engagement, interactive notebooking in classrooms, and book studies with staff.
In her free time, Mrs. Haskett enjoys spending time with her husband, their five children, and two English Labs named Duke and Duchess. She has a love for the beach, Duke athletics, reading, crafting, and traveling.
