Gaston County Schools is pleased to announce a new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider for the 2026-2027 school year. Through a partnership with Tava Health, employees and their eligible family members will have access to a variety of confidential support services designed to promote overall well-being. The program includes counseling sessions as well as a wide range of online and print resources that are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sign up here.

Gaston County Schools is seeking teachers with proven leadership and academic performance results for the following Advanced Teaching Roles: Lead Teacher, Reach Teacher, and Instructional Coach.  The positions are for the 2026-2027 school year; funding for the positions come from the Advanced Teaching Roles grant and Title I.
