Students are assigned to schools based on the location of their residence. Beginning students should register at their prospective schools. When entering GCS from other districts, parents will need to contact the Student Assignment Office, 943 Osceola St. (704-866-6100) before they may register at the school level. All new students must have a parent or legal guardian with them to register. They must bring a notarized copy of their birth certificate, immunization records, and two proofs of address such as a utility bill or lease agreement.
