||The Ashbrook Rainbow Society is a student-run club which provides a safe place for LGBTQ+ students and their straight allies to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression, and work to end homophobia and transphobia.

|Battle of the Books
||Battle of the Books is a reading challenge for anyone who is willing to read the list of 16 books and be prepared to compete against the other high schools in who knows the books best. See Mrs. York for the current list.

||Drama club is an extracurricular activity which, with the collaboration of the Art club, engineers every production at Ashbrook. It is more than just acting. There is light, sound, stage management, product organization, directing, makeup, hair, costuming, and much more.

||Junior Marshals are chosen based on GPA and help with graduation activities.
|National Honor Society
||Seniors who had a weighted GPA of 4.0 or higher at the end of 1st semester their Junior Year. It is a service organization that sponsors the Mr Ashbrook Pageant.

||Students who love poetry will come together to write and workshop their original poems. The club produces 2 poetry showcases each year. We also partner with BreatheINK Charlotte to participate in poetry workshops, open mics, and poetry slams.
