        Mentors     

                       

    Hawks Nest STEAM Academy is seeking caring adults who have up to one hour a week to serve as a friend and role model to an elementary school aged child.  Your gift of time can make a difference in the life of a deserving student. To be a mentor, you must:

    ·   complete a Gaston County Schools Volunteer application

     

    ·    have a background check at no cost to the volunteer

     

    ·    attend a mentor training and orientation class

     

    ·    commit to meet weekly with mentee for up to one hour
