It is with pleasure that I embark on the opportunity to serve as the Principal of Woodhill Elementary School.  I look forward to working with the students, families, and the surrounding community of the school.  I am expecting great outcomes.

I am a product of Gaston County Schools, a proud alumna of Ashbrook High School.  I am a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Belmont Abbey College and began my career as an elementary school teacher in 2007 at Woodhill Elementary School.  As a part of the Woodhill family, I had the opportunity to teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students, from 2007-2015. These were among the best years of my career.

Being afforded the opportunity to serve as an instructional coach, I worked alongside the Southwest Middle School faculty as a Math Support Teacher during the 2015-2018 school years.  Serving as the Dean of Students at Southwest Middle School during the 2018-2019 school year allowed me to transition with ease into school administration.

I graduated from Gardner-Webb University with an MA in Educational Leadership in 2019.  I was proud to serve Gaston County Schools as Assistant Principal at Southwest Middle School from 2019-2022.  My journey as an educational professional has allowed me to come full circle back to Woodhill in a position of leadership.  Words can not express my gratitude for this opportunity. l look forward to working with Gaston County Schools for many years to come.
