Mrs. Bassett earned her AS in Early Childhood Education from Gaston College and her BA in Child/Family Development and BK Licensure from UNC Charlotte. She has taught at  our school for 16 years, both in Kindergarten and PreK. She has been married for 45 years and has 4 children. She and her husband are raising two wonderful grandchildren. Niki is 19, and is attending Gaston college in the pre-nursing program and Kayleigh is13 and this year she started 8th grade at BCMS . Mrs. Bassett enjoys reading, going to the mountains, her family, history and learning about the Civil War.

Hello BCP family! Welcome to our school. I love working with children and enjoy teaching them their alphabet, numbers, shapes and so much more. I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Gaston College. I believe your children are a gift, and I will help them to strive to do their best. I look forward to meeting you and your children and watching them grow throughout the coming year. My parents are Vince & Pamela Quinn, and I have an older brother, Wesley, who is married to Brittani & a younger brother, Jake, who attends North Greenville University.
