Hello, my name is Kelly Beam Brown. My husband is Johnny. We have one son, Nickolas and our 14 year old lab named Raleigh. Nickolas is a 2017 graduate from Cherryville High School. He begins his senior year at UNC Charlotte (Go Niners!) in the College of Business Administration and is majoring in Accounting & Finance. This year I will begin my 27th year teaching Gaston County children; 25 of those years have been right here at our awesome school, Cherryville Elementary.
I truly love my job and have always wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I remember when my friends came to my house we played school and I was ALWAYS the teacher! Thank you for sharing your child with me!

I have taught K, 1st and 2nd, but 2nd grade is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! I enjoy swimming, teaching gymnastics and watching baseball games. I love the cold seasons and I enjoy spending my vacations near the mountains!

Hi! My name is Anna Parker and I am a second grade teacher. This is my 20th year teaching at Cherryville Elementary. This school holds a special place in my heart because I grew up in Cherryville and went to Cherryville Elementary. I remember walking these hallways as a child and all of the special teachers that I adored. They gave me a love for learning and inspired me to be a teacher.
