Mrs. Beth Crosby

Hello Bulldogs! I am Beth Crosby, and I am so proud to serve the HH Beam family as an assistant principal. I am originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. I received my undergraduate degree from Meredith College, and joined my husband in the Gaston County area over twenty years ago. I was a classroom teacher at McAdenville Elementary School for eighteen years, served as an instructional coach at Lingerfelt Elementary School and as an Assistant Principal at Cramerton Middle School. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher and spent many years working with the Pinnacle Network within Gaston County Schools.

Outside of school, my life revolves around my family! You’ll find me most weekends on a soccer field cheering for my son, Ethan, or learning about trains with my son Ty. I also enjoy cooking, cheering on my NC State Wolfpack and South Carolina Gamecocks, attending NASCAR races, and traveling. One of my other greatest passions is serving as a Relief Manager with the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte!

My life’s motto comes from Etienne de Grellet: “I expect to pass through life but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good deed that I can do for any fellow man, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”

I look forward to serving all the students and families at H.H. Beam Elementary School!
