Mrs. Beth Crosby
Hello Bulldogs! I am Beth Crosby, and I am honored to serve the HH Beam Elementary community as principal. I am originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and have lived in the Gaston County area for over twenty three years. I received my undergraduate degree from Meredith College, my graduate degree from UNC-Charlotte, and am currently a doctoral student at Gardner Webb University. I have served as a teacher at McAdenville Elementary School, Instructional Coach at Lingerfelt Elementary, and as an Assistant Principal at Cramerton Middle School.
Outside of school, my life revolves around my family. You’ll find me on the weekends exercising, spending time with my oldest son Ethan, and learning about trains with my younger son Ty. I also enjoy cooking, cheering on my NC State Wolfpack and South Carolina Gamecocks, attending NASCAR races, and traveling. One of my other greatest passions is serving as a House Manager with the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.
My life’s motto comes from Etienne de Grellet: “I expect to pass through life but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good deed that I can do for any fellow man, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”
I look forward to serving all the students and families at H.H. Beam Elementary School!
