W.B. Beam Intermediate earns accreditation as a quality school
Beam Intermediate proves that big things can often come in small packages. While the school may only have two grade levels with 200 students, the students and teachers go beyond expectations to make big achievements in academics, extracurricular activities, and service to the community. For example, the school traditionally ranks in the top four in the Battle of the Books and Math Masters competitions. The school has won awards in the “Clean School” competition and the school custodian has been recognized as Custodian of the Year on more than one occasion. To make a difference for people in community, the students and staff collected more than 2,100 items during holiday canned food drive, and just finished collecting scarves and gloves for the Cherryville Area Ministries. Congratulations to W.B. Beam Intermediate School on earning accreditation as a quality school.
