Mrs. Jenny Carper

Jenny Carper has been in education for over 25 years. She attended Western Kentucky University and graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Education grades K-8. She is currently in the Principal Fellows program at University of North Carolina - Charlotte and thrilled to be a part of the Holbrook family.

Jenny spent the first 16 years of her education career in Ohio. While teaching in Ohio, she won the National Milken Family Foundation Award, Wal--Mart teacher of the year, American Red Cross Educator of the year and was nominated for Disney Teacher of the Year twice. She coached all-star, high school and middle school cheerleading. She relocated to her home state of North Carolina to marry her high school sweetheart, Chad Carper, in 2012. She taught at Forest Heights and Robinson Elementary Schools. She was honored to be the Forest Height teacher of the year. Leadership roles have included School Improvement Team chair, Grade Level chair, Superintendent’s Advisory Council, Girls on the Run coach and Let Me Run coach.

Jenny and her husband have a blended family of 4 boys - Taylor, Josh, Noah and Matt. They love to travel and go on adventures together. She also loves to run, workout and be active. Jenny loves running races - including 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, Spartan obstacle course races and is currently training for her first triathlon in 2022. Jenny is active with her church, her friends, her gym and LOVES anything Disney!

Mrs. Jennifer Lancaster

For over 24 years, Jennifer Lancaster has been an educator within the Gaston County School System.  She graduated from Belmont Abbey College with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Elementary Education K-6.  She earned her Master's Degree in Administration and Curriculum Instruction from UNCC.  Jennifer taught at Kiser Elementary for 14 years prior to moving on as a Literacy Specialist and then as the Content Teacher at Brookside Elementary.

Jennifer has two children ~ Jake who is 17 and Bridget who is 13.  She is a native of Rhode Island and loves to spend her free time traveling, at the beach, working in the yard or watching a game.  Go Red Sox and Patriots!

Mrs. Kimberly Reese

Mrs. Reese is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in elementary education and early childhood education. She earned her Master’s Degree in School Leadership and Administration from Capella University. Mrs. Reese began her teaching career in Gaston County in 2007.

She taught for eight years at Carr Elementary and left the classroom to serve as an Instructional Facilitator for three years at Bessemer City Central Elementary School. Most recently she served as the assistant principal at Costner Elementary.

Mrs. Reese is married to Ben and together they have a daughter, Ava. In her spare time, Mrs. Reese and her family enjoy spending time at the beach.

Mrs. Reese is very excited to have been given the opportunity to serve as Assistant Principal at Holbrook Middle School and is looking forward to a great year!
