I am a graduate of Belmont Abbey College. I live in Mt. Holly with my husband Josh, our two children Adler and Sawyer and our Boxer Gracie. I have previously taught Kindergarten and also worked as a teacher assistant. I am currently teaching 2nd grade here at Brookside. I enjoy game nights with my close friends and bargain shopping.

Hello! My name is Madison Bartlett. I was born and raised in Gastonia, NC. Growing up, I attended Brookside for K, 2nd, and 3rd grade, and I am excited to be back! I graduated from UNC Wilmington in May 2024 and started teaching in August 2024. I love reading, shopping, and spending time with my family and pets. I am super excited to be teaching 2nd grade!

My name is Michelle Leagan. I am beginning my 27th year of teaching and my 23rd year at Brookside! I'm excited to be returning to first grade. I love teaching, the UNC Tar Heels, monkeys, my two sweet dogs, and my wonderful husband, family and friends. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year!
