Mrs. Sandra Engbarth: Itinerant AIG/Composer Teacher

Sandra Engbarth currently serves as an AIG and Composer teacher at the elementary level for Gaston County Schools. She has served as an Instructional Technology Facilitator and has taught second, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. She has been employed by Gaston County Schools for twenty-four years. 

 

Mrs. Engbarth holds a B.A. in Elementary Education for grades K-6, an M.A. in Educational Media and Leadership for grades K-12, and is certified for Academically and Intellectually Gifted learning for grades K-12. She is an ambassador for Book Creator, Seesaw, and Flip Grip. Mrs. Engbarth participated in a year-long professional development for the North Carolina Digital Leaders Network in 2016-17. She attended Confratute to learn about research-based practical strategies for engagement and enrichment learning for all students, as well as meeting the needs of gifted and talented students. Mrs. Engbarth enjoys working with students to support our district's vision to inspire success and a lifetime of learning.

B.A. Early Childhood Education Masters of Art in Teaching M.Ed School Administration K-12

Mrs. Cherie Feemster K-2 Math

Mrs. Cherie Feemster currently serves as the K-2 Math Content Teacher at Pleasant Ridge. She has taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, First grade, Second grade, and Fifth grade. She has been employed by Gaston County Schools for 6 years but has been teaching for over 12 years. 

Mrs. Feemster holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and an M.Ed. In School Administration for grades K-12. Mrs. Feemster has been a part of an extensive journey while teaching, filled with opportunities that have been aimed at helping educators realize their best selves and achieve their fullest potential, enabling students to perform at their best and reach their highest capabilities. She is so thrilled to be a part of Gaston County Schools.
