Seventh and eighth grade students are allowed to apply in the spring semester of the year to be a media assistant the following year. Unfortunately, many more apply than can be chosen. The students chosen are assigned to the Media Center for one semester as one of their encore classes. They learn about and help maintain the organization of the Media Center, review books, create displays, help other students select books, and then check them out. They are invaluable in keeping the library running smoothly and work really hard! Be sure to listen for announcements about the application process and when they are due!
