My name is Linda Goforth Lyon. I grew up through New Hope Elementary, Cramerton Jr. High and South Point High School. I received my BS degree from Wingate College. I am married to Craig Lyon and we have five children. This is my 19th year teaching at New Hope. I love it and I am looking forward to this 2021-2022 school year.

I am Brooke Martin, the first grade teacher at New Hope Elementary! This is my 7th year teaching at New Hope and I am looking forward to another great year!

I attended Appalachian State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications, with a minor in Art. After working in the field of Marketing for a few years, I went back to school to obtain my teaching license and Master's Degree from Pfeiffer University. I am married and have two sons, a 4 year old and a newborn.

In my classroom you can expect creative, interdisciplinary lessons where students are engaged in learning while having fun!

I am married to my husband Carlos. We have 3 "fur" babies. I graduated from Belmont Abbey. I have taught first grade for 19 years and the last 13 have been here at New Hope. The minute I walked into New Hope I knew that I had found my home away from home. Teaching is my true calling in life. I find great joy in watching my kids grow and learn everyday.
