Carr Elementary has earned the Leader in Me Lighthouse School Award, which is presented to schools for their efforts to include leadership principles in academics.
Students at Lingerfeldt Elementary enjoyed a back-to-school pep rally by the Carolina Panthers. “Sir Purr” was on hand to encourage the students to do their best this year.
Ashbrook High School alumnus and UNC football player British Brooks was named the ACC Football Player of the Week for the week of September 4.
