Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Universal Free Breakfast and Lunch.

All 19 schools participating during the school year 2021-2022 have been renewed for the school year 2022-2023.
Students transferring /advancing to NON-CEP schools will need to complete a Gaston County Schools Nutrition Free and Reduced Meal Application for the school year 2022-2023.
Families of students moving from a CEP school to a NON-CEP will need to apply for Free and Reduced Meals in order to receive benefits at the new school.
Students qualifying for Direct Certification of Meal Eligibility do not need to complete an additional application upon returning for the school year 2022-2023. Students approved by Direct Certification will receive a mailed notification of benefits from GCSN by August 1, 2022.
