Good News from Our Schools

  • Carr Elementary School has earned recertification as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. The honor is presented by Franklin Covey Education and recognizes the school’s outstanding efforts to integrate Covey’s seven leadership habits across the curriculum, which contributes to student growth, building relationships, achieving common goals, and upholding the belief that everyone can be a leader.

    Dr. Christelle Corpin, who teaches science at Stuart W. Cramer High School, has been chosen as the EPI (Educational Partners International) Teacher of the Year for North Carolina.
