    End-of-Grade and End-of-Course Tests

During the school year, students take various tests required by the N.C. Department of Public Instruction. These tests include end-of-course and end-of-grade tests for students in grades 3-12.

End-of-course tests for grades 9-12 are administered twice a year – at the end of the first semester in January and at the end of the second semester in June. End-of-grade tests for grades 3-8 are administered in May.
